robin-groceryWe needed a few groceries today. I needed to start getting  back into some sort of shape. So I decided we should walk the three miles to the store and back. It would do us good. And besides that, I had a dolly to tote the groceries as long as we didn’t purchase too much.  Robin wanted to snap a photo of gypsylarry the bagman so here I am exiting Winn-Dixie and leaving the parking lot. The walk did us both good as I didn’t want to take in all the good exercise by myself so I allowed Robin to join me in the dolly toting. She didn’t complain at all but somehow I surmised she wasn’t a happy camper.  marketplace1

He washed and washed, from top to bottom, did the wheels, tires, and put a sheen on the unit that was missing for some time. In the future, I’ll do this work myself but he came along just as we were preparing to visit and RV show, so I figured what the heck. Allow me to help the economy and provide work for someone else.  So I put the ingredients of homemade spaghetti sauce into the crockpot, and we headed out for the day. wash-and-waxingMuch of the time spent here that I don’t relate much is the interaction and camaraderie with other RVer’s. Just walking about meeting new people, finding out where they hail from, and trading stories is the highlight of my day. All are not interesting, but there’s always someone who makes your life better in some small way.  To me, that’s worth it all.
